We had some fantastic results at the Potteries Orienteering Competition in March this year.
Our Year 5s and Year 6s won the Standon Bowers Primary School trophy.
Our Year 7s and Year 8s came 2nd overall in the KS3 Morgan Middle School Competition.
Well done, especially to Hannah Weeks (Year 5), Maisy Cotterill (Year 5), Owen Hadnum-Bibby (Year 6), Lyall Stanway (Year 6), Freya Snape and Paige Copestake who all came 1st in their categories to win the Standon Bowers trophy.
In Year 7 Emily Wain and Ellie-May Berrisford also came 1st, Wiktoria Jochymczak and Mia Hill came 2nd and in Year 8 Remee Yates came 3rd.

Staffordshire Moorlands Netball
After several netball matches against other schools in the Moorlands our Year 7 Netball team came a super overall 2nd position in the League, whilst the Year 8s came 6th in the League.
At the Endon tournament the Year 7A team had victories over Woodhouse 3-1, St Edwards 1-0 and Moorside 1-0, drawing against Painsley and losing only to Endon 0-2.
The Year 7B drew with Painsley and Woodhouse, losing to St Edwards 0-1, Moorside 0-3 and Endon 0-1.
Unfortunately due to poor weather, the Year8s had their tournament in February cancelled.
The recent end-of-season Cheadle Tournament was cut short because poor weather meant the courts became unsafe. However final results were Year 8 came 5th and Year 7 finished 4th overall.
The Year 5 teams played their first matches against St Edwards and Woodhouse and were very excited. The A team drew with St Edwards but lost to Woodhouse 0-1, whilst the B team drew against both St Edwards and Woodhouse.
The Year 6A team lost to Woodhouse, however the Year 6B team beat St Edwards.
Well done to the Year 7 and Year 8 winners of the Moorlands Sportshall Athletics Competition in December.
They went through to the Level 3 (County) Competition in February where they came 5th and 6th respectively.
In Year 7 athletes were Lilybeth Mountford, Emily Wain, Aleiha Morris, Ellie Mae Berrisford, Katie Ward, Ashlee Carroll and Skyla Cartwright.
Our Year 8 athletes were Teagan Booth, Jorja Carroll, Leah Fraser, Jody Collinson, Remee Yates, Almira Wallace and Maisie Barber.
Inspire Dance at The Victoria Hall, Hanley
Well done to over 70 of our pupils who took part in the Inspire Dance show on Thursday 29th March. It was a superb evening again and they had a fantastic time. Thanks go to Biddulph High School students who have taught them their dances, working hard since January.
