We all learn best when we are happy and supported, challenged and encouraged. At James Bateman we strive to make sure learning is enriching and enjoyable. We work with every pupil to nurture their individual abilities and to equip them for success, both academically and in terms of life skills.

    Happy Half Term, Team Bateman! As we reach the end of another busy and successful half term at James Bateman Middle School, we would like to say a huge well done to all of our pupils for their hard work, resilience and positive attitude. From lessons and trips to performances, sports and weekly Special Mentions celebrations, there has been so much to be proud of this half term. We hope all of our pupils, families and staff have a safe, relaxing and well deserved break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the final half term of the year!

    Huge congratulations to Jaxon in Year 5! Last week, Jaxon attended his final review at Crewe Alexandra as an Under-10 player and has successfully been retained for the Under-11 squad next season a fantastic achievement! To make the week even more special, Jaxon and his team played Stoke City F.C. on Sunday in their final Academy game of the season and came away with an incredible 5–4 victory! Well done, Jaxon everyone is very proud of you!
