Our year 6 visit to Quarry Bank Mill is fast approaching. Thursday 22nd October. We will be leaving school by coach at 8:30, so please ensure that children are at school promptly - the gates will be open and Year 6 staff on the playground. Things to remember: a packed lunch, sensible and comfortable footwear, school uniform and any medication/inhalers. We should be back for the end of the school day - we will keep you updated on Arbor and social media.

We could not be proud of the Year 8 Thunder netball squad who played in their second Staffordshire Moorlands tournament at Fenton on Tuesday 13th October. The girls' hard work in lessons and commitment to training was demonstrated in their skill application and development of game tactics. Out of 7 schools the girls celebrated wins against Endon 4-3, St Edwards 4-2 and Cheadle 2-1. Overall, they finished 3rd, which is a fantastic achievement. A big thank you go to our sports leaders who used the leadership skills learnt in lessons to help Mrs Montifroy run the tournament, scoring and timing as part of their officiating roles. Congratulations to everyone involved!
