We all learn best when we are happy and supported, challenged and encouraged. At James Bateman we strive to make sure learning is enriching and enjoyable. We work with every pupil to nurture their individual abilities and to equip them for success, both academically and in terms of life skills.

The atmosphere at James Bateman is very special and we welcome visits to our school so that you can experience it for yourself.

Our focus is on excellence in all that we do.     What an amazing half term it's been for our brilliant Year 7s! From settling into routines to taking on new challenges, you've shown enthusiasm, resilience, and a fantastic attitude to learning. We're so proud of everything you've achieved so far the teamwork, the curiosity, and the kindness you've shown around school. Keep it up!

    Reminder for Year 6 parents/carers that Wednesday 25th February is our SATSs information evening starting at 3:45pm. We look forward to seeing you in the school hall. All resources and PowerPoints shared at the SATs evening will be available afterwards as stated on the letter

    Happy Half Term, Team Bateman! As we reach the end of another busy and successful half term at James Bateman Middle School, we want to say a huge well done to all our pupils for their hard work, positive attitude and determination. It has been fantastic to see so many achievements both in and out of the classroom, and we are incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished. We hope everyone has a safe, restful and well deserved break. Enjoy the time to relax and recharge, and we look forward to welcoming you back ready for the next half term! #TeamBateman
