Creativity in every detail! Our talented Y8 have been putting their woodworking skills into practice by designing and crafting beautiful handmade wooden mobile phone holders. From measuring and cutting to sanding and finishing, each holder showcases the creativity, patience, and craftsmanship developed throughout the project. It's fantastic to see students turning simple pieces of wood into practical and stylish products they can be proud of. Well done to everyone involved for demonstrating such impressive creative skills and attention to detail!

A Fantastic Pie and Pea Night! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Pie and Pea Night. It was wonderful to see so many people come together for an evening of great food, laughter and community spirit. The event was a fantastic success, and we are incredibly grateful to all those who attended, volunteered and helped make the evening run so smoothly. Your support is greatly appreciated and helps make events like this possible. We hope everyone enjoyed their pies, peas and good company as much as we did! We look forward to welcoming you to our next event. Thank you once again for your continued support!

Special Mentions Assembly What a fantastic way to end the week at James Bateman as we came together to celebrate the achievements of our pupils. From excellent effort in lessons to acts of kindness and determination, there was so much to recognise and applaud. We were also delighted to celebrate pupils who continue to make great progress with their reading, reaching impressive word counts and achieving important milestones along the way. Our weekly Special Mentions Assembly is always a highlight, giving us the opportunity to recognise the many ways our pupils make our school such a positive and successful community. Congratulations to everyone celebrated today – keep up the amazing work!
