We would like to say thank you to Staffordshire Safer Roads for visiting our school and delivering an informative session to our Year 8 students today. As our students prepare for the next stage of their education, these sessions play a vital role in helping them understand how to stay safe and make responsible choices as they gain more independence. Important topics such as road safety awareness, safe travel habits and the potential risks young people may encounter when out and about were all covered, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to navigate new journeys safely. Thank you again for your support in keeping our young people safe.

Please ensure your child: Brings a packed lunch (unless one has been pre-ordered from school) Takes any travel sickness tablets before the journey if needed Brings any inhalers or prescribed medication needed for the day. Any medication should be handed to the teacher with a note if required. Pupils should keep inhalers with them at all times. May bring a small amount of spending money for the gift shop if you would like them to have this Wears trainers or comfortable footwear as there will be a lot of walking Brings a jumper or coat, as the visit is entirely outdoors and the weather may feel cooler during the day Cameras/phones may be used for taking pictures of the sculptures and scenery only, not of other pupils

Creative Computing in Action! Pupils in Mr Bowers' class at James Bateman have been getting creative in Computing, combining their digital design skills with a fun twist! Using Canva, they designed their very own album covers inspired by TT Rockstars characters. From bold graphics to imaginative themes, it was fantastic to see pupils experimenting with layout, colour and typography to bring their ideas to life. A brilliant lesson full of creativity, confidence and digital skills in action well done everyone!
