Well done to the Y8 football team they played the first of 2 tournaments tonight and were amazing ambassadors for our school. The games could have gone either way every game being extremely close, but we finished with 1 win and 2 loses. All the boys should be very proud the way they played.

🤖🧱 Year 6 LEGO Robot Programming at Leek College! 🧱🤖 Our Year 6 pupils had a fantastic time visiting Leek College for an exciting LEGO robot programming session! 🚀 During the session, pupils worked collaboratively to build, program and test their own LEGO robots, developing their problem-solving, teamwork and computational thinking skills along the way. They explored how to write and adjust code to make their robots complete a range of different tasks. When things didn't quite go to plan, they put their debugging skills to the test by identifying errors, making changes to their programs and trying again until they achieved their goals! 💻 It was brilliant to see the pupils showing such enthusiasm, resilience and creativity as they tackled each challenge. They had a fantastic opportunity to apply their computing skills in a hands-on environment and experience how programming can be used in the real world. A huge thank you to Leek College for providing such an engaging and inspiring experience for our Year 6 pupils! 👏
