Hello, welcome to Year 7!

I am Mrs Perkin. I am the Year 7 Progress Leader and I also teach Key Stage 3 English. 

Moving into Year 7, may feel daunting at first, but students quickly get used to the different classes, teachers and rooms before they know it! 

Events & Activities

In Year 7, we have lots of different clubs on offer from Craft Club, to girls’ and boys’ football, to Dungeons and Dragons where all are welcome. Year 7 students also have the unique opportunity to experience a taste of further education at Keele and Staffordshire University; this trip is designed to help students gain an insight into what they might want to do in the future. Additionally, we have many exciting rewards planned throughout the year to recognise good behaviour, including ice-skating, a trip to Alton Towers and much more.

This year, the Year 7 residential taking place is a 5-day trip to London where students travel via train to ride on the London Eye, tour the Tower of London and explore many more attractions in the capital city! 

Myself and the staff are here to ensure that the transition into Year 7 is as smooth as possible and we cannot wait to see the success that our students achieve this year!
